Indigo is a 14 year old, 14+ hand arab/quarter horse mare. Easy to ride down the trail, Indigo is game & ready. Appropriate for a rider with some experience and confidence, Indigo will reflect the rider’s state of mind with shocking accuracy.

$4.15.14 - Our newest crew member, Anwen James\' first ride on Indigo - game and ready - both of them.$

$4.14.14 - Indigo was a gem on her trip for her veterinary appointment. All was well, though we agree with the vet that Indigo is probably 14 years old, not 9 years old like we were told. She\'s lovely, no matter the age. Our gratitude to soon-to-be foster mom, Kathi, for making this appointment possible. This photo shows Indigo 30 days after arrival.$

$4.4.14 - Although she\'d been groomed for perhaps an hour before being ridden, Indigo was still losing hair after her ride. She was sure loving the attention.$

$4.4.14 - Indigo is very comfortable with the saddling process & seems like she\'d stand quietly forever.$

$3.31.14 - Today was Indigo\'s day to show us what she knows. She was distracted & fretful to begin with but settled beautifully once she began to work. 16 year old Anwen did some very nice groundwork with her.$

$3.13.14 - We picked this mare up today from a home that had been feeding her up for 2 months. She\'s quiet, handles well, & is ridable. Currently called Halo, this mare will quarantine at MTTR before being fostered by our wonderful volunteer, Kathi, who will spend the summer checking her out. Please watch how she progresses.$
