“Sis” was pulled from the slaughter pipeline in Sunnyside, WA, by Allison Patrick’s Save The Mustangs Program. She is said to have come to the feedlot with a jack, so may be pregnant with a mule. This 15 year old mustang mare has obviously been handled, but has some serious fear issues.

This lovely adoptable mare is from the Beatty Butte herd in Oregon – the herd that is being gathered right now with plans to reduce the herd from 1500 to 100 individuals. There will be many still-wild Beatty Butte horses available for adoption from the BLM shortly.


This colt came from a large round up of Umatilla Tribal horses in November 2013 as a young weanling. Pastured with geldings since, he’s just arrived at the rescue facility and is beginning halter training. Very thoroughbred like in appearance, this colt will be a fine project for someone wanting to learn about …
