Bandit Springs Directions
July 13 @ 8:00 am - July 15 @ 5:00 pm
DIRECTIONS to BANDIT SPRINGS!
From the east end of Prineville at the last gas station at the stop light at the intersection with Combs Flat Road, proceed 29 miles on Hwy 26. Turn right on Forest Road 2630 a quarter mile after Mile Post 48. A sign reads “Marks Creek Sno-Park Crystal Sprs Org Camp”. We have placed a sign that reads “AERC Ride” and the Mustangs To The Rescue directional sign.
There is a bathroom at this intersection after you make the turn if you’re in need – TP status unknown.
Proceed up Road 2630 for 2 miles. It is a decent gravel road, but you’ll want to travel slowly, especially across the two cattle guards. You will turn right into our camp at a well-marked intersection.
Please check in before parking – our parking area is mildly smaller than in the past and we are parking in a way to “circle the wagons” against potential wild horse visits. Please expect to park close to your neighbors.
Chili dogs Friday and Saturday late afternoons, breakfast Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Come enjoy the well-marked trails and camp amenities!
